As a small group of volunteers with 'day jobs', we will not be able to maintain a very active news page.  We shall endeavour to provide updates as often as possible; about Leeds Festival tickets, the grant process and the causes that we have helped.

8 MAR 22 >> Applications for resident's 2022 Leeds Festival tickets are NOW OPEN. Apply through the tickets page

16 FEB 22 >> Festival Republic have set the price for 2022 resident tickets at £65, an increase that applies to ALL local villages.

30 AUG 21 >> Grant applications are now OPEN (closing date 31/10/21), please visit the grant applications page for information.

5 APR 21 >> Applications for resident's 2021 Leeds Festival tickets are NOW OPEN. Apply through the tickets page.

15 MAY 20 >> Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Leeds Festival has now been formally cancelled by the promoters Festival Republic.

8 MAY 20 >> If you have applied for tickets but wish to withdraw, please email so we can arrange this.

1 MAY 20 >> In light of the current circumstances we have extended the deadline for ticket applications to 10pm on 31 May.

1 MAR 20 >> Applications for resident's Leeds Festival tickets are NOW OPEN. Apply through this form before 2 May 2020.

2 SEP 19 >> We're looking forward to seeing who will join the first headliner, Liam Gallagher, at Leeds 2020. Announcement soon!

2 SEP 19 >> Any local organisation wishing to apply for a 2020 grant can now do so. Please find the form on the grants page..

30 AUG 19 >> We hope that the lucky winners enjoyed this year's Leeds Festival. We welcome any feedback on the tickets and bus. 

2 MAR 19 >> Applications for the 2019 Leeds Festival are now open! Details and application form are on our tickets page.

24 FEB 19 >> Our apologies for the unavoidable delay with 2019 grant awards. Successful applicants will receive cheques this week.

15 SEP 18 >> Organisations seeking a grant award in 2019 are invited to apply now. Please download the form from the grants page..

25 FEB 18 >> Applications are now OPEN for the 2018 Leeds Festival. To apply for residents tickets please complete the form here.

15 FEB 18 >> Applications for the 2018 Leeds Festival will be here very soon! We are just finalising this year's form.

13 FEB 18 >> The first set of acts for the 2018 Leeds Festival have been announced by Festival Republic. See their site.

9 SEP 17 >> The application form for grants to be awarded in 2018 is now available to download at the bottom of the grants page.

10 AUG 17 >> 2017 ticket collections (and shuttle bus tickets) are on 22 August 2017, 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Scholes Manor House.

20 MAY 17 >> The 250 residents who were drawn to receive 2017 Leeds Festival tickets have now been notified by e-mail.

28 FEB 17 >> Applications for 2017 Leeds Festival resident tickets are now OPEN! To apply, please complete the Google Form here.

22 AUG 16 >> Grant applications are now open for grants to be awarded early in 2017. You can find the form on the grants page

14 AUG 16 >> Resident ticket collection (and shuttle bus tickets) is on the 23rd of August, 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Scholes Manor House.

6 FEB 16 >> The application form for 2016 Leeds Festival tickets is now available to download from the Ticket Applications page.

20 AUG 15 >> Resident ticket holders can collect their tickets on Tues 25th August 4:30pm to 7:00pm from Scholes Manor House.

25 APR 15 >> Once again we had an excess of applicants and have had to draw the 250 residents who will get a ticket this year.

4 FEB 15 >> The application form for residents tickets to the 2015 Leeds Festival is now available to download from the tickets page.

29 JAN 15 >> We have now notified all recipients of grant applications for this year and issued cheques to the value of £17,157.89.

4 NOV 14 >> Thanks to everyone who applied for a grant this year. Once again the amount requested exceeded the available funds

26 JUL 14 >> The Grant Application form for this year has been uploaded here, and applications are invited for awards early in 2015.

22 MAY 14 >> The 250 residents who were drawn to receive Leeds Festival tickets have now been notified by e-mail.

16 APR 14 >> The Leeds Festival ticket ballot has taken place and 250 lucky residents have been drawn out of the proverbial hat.

17 FEB 14 >> The full details of 2013 grant applications and awards has now been added to the 'Past Grants' section of this web site.

2 FEB 14 >> All applicants for 2013 grants have now been notified of their success and values of their awards. More details will follow.

1 NOV 13 >> Applications are now CLOSED for grants from the Community Fund for this year. Many thanks to all who applied.

22 OCT 13 >> The Community Fund has received just four applications for funding so far this year. Just nine days left to apply!

27 SEP 13 >> The Community Fund today received a report and photographs from the Scholes Village Show that we assisted.

5 SEP 13 >> The Community Fund received a note of thanks and photographs following Scholes Social Club's trip to Bridlington.

26 AUG 13 >> We are delighted to report that the inaugural shuttle bus service was a success throughout the festival - mud aside! 

22 AUG 13 >> We hope that all of our lucky resident ticket holders enjoy a thoroughly enjoyable - and safe - festival weekend.

20 AUG 13 >> Nearly all resident tickets have been collected from the Manor House. Thanks to everyone for remembering your ID!

4 JUL 13 >> We have released the form for applications for 2014 grants (to be returned by 31 Oct 2013). See Grant Applications
