Record of Past Grants Awarded
From Small Acorns

2012 was our inaugural year, although Festival Republic made funds available through the Parish Council in earlier years.  Much of our first year was given to setting up processes, forms and communication channels, largely without guidance.  We were immensely satisfied with what proved to be a hugely successful first year, although we had one or two teething problems!  In subsequent years we have fine tuned the process and the application form, added a shuttle bus serviceperfected how we track applications, and improved the content, frequency and timing of our communication.  We continue to seek ways to improve so please let us know if you have any suggestions!  .

Annual Grant Summaries

The year links to the right take you to a full list of grants received each year, their purposes, values and whether they were approved or rejected. The area below will describe notable highlights as we receive them, demonstrating the benefits that the fund provides.  We shall keep the news page updated with progress reports on the many community initiatives, provided by those who are involved in delivering them.  We hope that you will call back regularly to see how these awards are benefiting our villages and the surrounding area.

>>  Friends Of Barwick School received significant funding to purchase and construct an outdoor musical bandstand and spectator area, which will be available to benefit the community as a whole.
